Park Road Anglican Church currently seek a Church Office Administrator to be responsible for the following:

  • Ensuring efficient running of church office and included administrative aspects of Sunday and all other applicable services
  • Preparation of Sunday service communication including weekly presentation slides, bulletin, run sheets and name labels. Process involves liaising with staff and guest preachers as well as the music teams in a timely manner to ensure accurate preparation of material
  • Continued development and maintenance of office operations and procedures, with accurate focus on the precision with which these organised systems run
  • Maintain administrative job manual. This role is a ministry to the church, maintaining the administrative job manual ensures the ministry won’t suffer if on occasion the employee is unable to attend work. Following the manual also promotes efficient task completion and reduces human error within the role
  • General reception duties, email, mail collection and distribution, adhoc data entry, upkeep of printer and maintain customer accounts we hold. Write letters, communication, surveys, prayer requests, newsletters and reports as needed
  • To competently use Elvanto, Microsoft Word, Gmail, Excel, PowerPoint and or ProPresenter, Pages or Adobe Photoshop, Facebook and WordPress
  • Hold current Working with Children Check
  • Use of online church management and worship planning software, Elvanto, to create and distribute weekly Sunday service rosters and use for communication with the congregation
  • Manage church bookings through Elvanto software
  • Basic maintenance of church website through WordPress
  • Oversee administration of Facebook pages, one for general community and one for church member communication
  • Order and refill of general church supplies; cleaning and maintenance items as well as basic food stuffs and monthly Sunday church meal
  • Contribution to efficient staff and congregational communication through application of communication processes and procedures
  • Liaising with church treasurer to manage receipt collection and petty cash
  • Assist with ordering of event promotional materials and hire of necessary equipment
  • Minute taking and distribution at staff meetings
  • Management of Senior Minister’s integrated Gmail calendar, preaching rosters, Google sheets and assistance with organising general yearly and monthly pre-planning
