Working behind the scenes of the campus ministry in the AFES National Office is an opportunity to serve the staff and students (afes.org.au).  It is essential that applicants have a personal commitment to and alignment with the vision, mission and values of AFES.

Role Summary

Under the direction of the AFES National Administrator, the Finance Manager will oversee financial control processes including internal and external audits, manage all finance and accounting operations, and ensure compliance with the law and company policies.

This position is full time and requires regular work to be performed at the AFES National Office, Kingsford.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Management of Finance Operations
  • Reporting and Auditing
  • External Compliance

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Relevant accounting and/or management degree.
  • Experience in reporting to both Management and a Governing Board.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel at intermediated to advanced user level.
  • Proficient in the use of MYOB or equivalent accounting software.
  • Proven high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
