Since 1856, Moore College has provided in-depth theological training in order to prepare men and women thoroughly and effectively for Christian ministry and mission. 

Based on the Sydney campus at Newtown and providing ministers for the Anglican Church in Sydney and training pastors who serve other denominations, Moore College's vision is evangelical and international. 

There are enormous opportunities for outreach, church planing and fresh theological course development in new and emerging nations.

Students come to study from a wide range of church and cultural contexts, for enrolment in diploma, graduate and postgraduate courses. 

In turn, graduates serve in Australia, South-East Asia, China, Africa, Europe and South America.

The College is now seeking to appoint a new role - Head of Foundation. 

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with churches and leading members of the Anglican Church to deliver the future vision and mission of Moore College. 

The role offers significant scope for growth and development.

Reporting to the Principal and working collaboratively with the executive team, this role is responsible for:

  • identifying and activating opportunities for the College to grow its funding base;
  • developing proactive bequest and endowment programs;
  • building strong and respectful relationships with donors and stakeholders;
  • building effective church networks; and,
  • organising appropriate major donor events.

You will have at least five years' experience in a fundraising role, ideally in a not-for-profit or church-related organisation. 

You will have exceptional communication skills, the ability to engender trust, effective research skills and the ability to build strong networks. 

Imagination, vision, energy and a passion for creating opportunities will be critical to success in this role. 

A track record in developing, implementing and realising fundraising strategies is essential.
