Pray for Aust Defence Force personnel and their chaplains who share their lifestyle. Pray for those who are seperated from their families by operational deployment. Pray for the re-integration of families after deployment - for wisdom and understanding between loved ones as they try to understanding between loved ones as they try to understand and adjust to their different experiences during separation and reunion. May the chaplians be effective ambassadors for Christ.

Pray for newcomers and visitors at churches during Easter. Pray for welcoming staff and congregation members and pray for the clear proclamation of the Gospel.

Please pray for Anglican chaplains and the AFES student clubs across Sydney and Australia as they head back to uni this week. Please pray for hassle-free O weeks, boldness in witnessing, and plenty of interested students to follow up.

Our Father in heaven, may your name be honoured as holy as we give thanks for the most undeserved gift to the world, your Son Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. You are our joy and our strength for salvation, for you have so loved us that you gave your son to bear the punishment for our sins. You deserve far more thanks than we could ever give, for you have been so good to us and utterly true to your word in all things. Forgive us for our faithlessness and keep changing our minds and hearts.

May your glorious word, the gospel, be proclaimed to peoples from all nations at this time and according to your unsearchable wisdom and judgements and your perfect knowledge would you grant repentance and trust to those who do not know you, so that they may know the Prince of Peace and escape the wrath to come.

May your earth be filled with the knowledge of your glory. May all see that you are the Lord and there is none like you. Amen.

Please prav for military chaplains this Sunday (and often). Here is a suggested prayer:
Lord God of Hosts,
we pray for your clergy whom you have called to the ministry of uniformed Chaplaincy,
and for those who proclaim your love and compassion in battle areas
and Defence establishments
where Australian military personnel serve.
Lord, strengthen their faith as they seek to witness to you in the secular world.
Protect them from all dangers and comfort them in the long separations from their families
and the familiar things of church that they must endure.
Lord who blessed the peacemakers,
bless especially those chaplains serving overseas,
helping to bring peace to nations new and old which are struggling to find their identity and place in the world.
We ask in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and forever. Amen

Pray for Robertson Anglican Church and it's School Holiday Programme on the Wednesday to the Friday. Pray that God would work powerfully through the leaders to share the message of the Gospel with Children and their Parents!

Pray for Toongabbie Anglican Church's International Food Festival tomorrow 10/9 to be a great opportunity for people to visit us, and then for our Mission Sundays the next 2 weeks.

AFE (evangelical) S student clubs at UTS, Macquarie & UWS Penrith are running mission events over this week (and beyond) around the theme of more (http://www.more.org.au). Please pray that the students would be bold in speaking with their friends, that the events would be engaging, the speakers clear and that many would discover that there's more to life with Jesus!

Now there are 28 Defence members killed in action. Pls continue to pray for personnel and also the Chaplains who minister in the Defence Force Context. Also pray to the Lord of the Harvest (Luke 10:2) for more workers.
