African Enterprise (AE) is an established, gospel-centered and global organisation seeking to bring the good news of Jesus to the cities of the world’s 2nd largest continent, Africa.
In 2017, over 1.1 million people heard the gospel through this ministry and 98,000 people committed their lives to Christ.
AE is an indigenous ministry, equipping the African Christian leadership of churches reaching the levels of government to the people on the streets.

Our current Australian Board seeks 2 additional board members and detailed below is a brief outline:
Board Member Expertise Sought:
- Marketing, Communications and/or Fundraising
- Social Enterprise/Entrepreneurialship
- Committed and active, evangelical Christian with an expressed passion for evangelism
- Males and Females.
Annual Budget: Approximately $3m
Current Board Size: 7 including Chair
Board Tenure: 3 years minimum
Number of Paid Staff: 5 including Executive Director
Board Meetings: Every Quarter held either at 7am or 4.30pm and annual Board Retreat.
Our Board comprises a mix of financial and risk expertise, aid and development, human resources and legal exposure.
It has in place good governance processes that include role descriptions for Board members and Chair, a matrix of skills that aid in the recruitment of new Board members and values the input of each Board Member to every meeting.
