We are excited to offer the opportunity for a passionate self-starter to join our team at Wyong Anglican Church. We are currently seeking expresions of interested from gifted evangelists with a passion for children's and family ministry and a heart for the lost outside Sydney.
Wyong Anglican Church is one of several evangelical Anglican churches on the Central Coast of NSW. Many of our members have come to us over the years from various Sydney Anglican parishes.
Wyong Anglican is located only a few minutes from the M1 motorway, approximately 50 minutes north of the Wahroonga motorway entrance. We are readily accessible to transport, schools, major shopping centres, lakes and beautiful beaches.
There is a rapidly growing community of children and families in need of the Gospel in this northern growth corridor. We are seeking a team player to support and build upon existing ministries to children and families as well as creating new ministry opportunities to engage the community. A faithful and dedicated team of lay leaders are ready and looking forward to supporting you in your role.
The successful candidate should have some theological training and have recent success in planting and building ministries to children and families. They should be willing to commit to the mission: "To make Christ known in a changing community by equipping God's people for worship, fellowship, Christian care and outreach".
There is some flexibility in the role depending on the experience, interests and giftedness of the appointee.
