CMS NSW & ACT invites applications for the role of Database Administrator. This position is part-time, based in our Sydney office.
CMS (Church Missionary Society) works with churches to set apart long-term workers who cross cultures to share the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our vision is to see a world that knows Jesus.
As the Database Administrator you will have ownership of the day-to-day management of user requests, end-user training and data & system maintenance.
The successful applicant will work with the Data Services Coordinator to improve processes, solve problems and enhance our system which is based on the Salesforce platform.
Experience in data management & manipulation, user support & training and relational databases, as well as a passion to support world mission, are essential.
Responsibilities include managing users, data & security; engaging, training & assisting staff; enabling and providing effective reports, dashboards & mail merges; improving processes and troubleshooting problems.
As well as being a strong logical, analytical and process-orientated thinker, you will need to relate well and work effectively with others, including remotely supporting staff in CMS branches across Australia.
