The Anglican Schools Corporation (TASC) caters for the academic, spiritual and pastoral needs of over 14,000 students in New South Wales, ranging in age from four to eighteen years. The Corporation seeks to provide quality and affordable education to local communities whilst communicating the Gospel of Jesus Christ. TASC currently comprises 18 schools and it is anticipated that additional schools will be added in line with the Corporation’s vision for growth and development.

Reporting to TASC’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr Peter Fowler, the Director, Education and Mission is an exciting new position where you will provide consultation and assistance with the ongoing development of Christian education within schools, including a wholistic approach to pedagogy from a Christian perspective throughout the curriculum and the life of the Corporation’s schools.

Your duties are broad and varied and include working closely with School Principals and the CEO to develop Christian and Educational Leadership capacity and capability in staff; developing and overseeing co-operative programs to recruit, train and retain Christian teachers; and developing initiatives across Corporation schools to identify, develop and retain Christian educational leaders.

It is expected that the Director, Education and Mission will be an experienced and respected educational leader who is committed to supporting the continued development of TASC’s talented staff; able to build and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders; and be a person of Christian faith and character. The appointment requires a high order of interpersonal and communication skills, together with senior executive presence, sound judgement and diplomacy skills.
