Youthworks is seeking an P/T Office Administrator (3 days p/w) to join our College team.

Youthworks College provides theological ministry education for learning effective children’s and youth ministry. About the role

The Office Administrator has oversight and responsibility to enact effective and efficient administrative duties, including but not limited to a variety of operational, routine, reporting, communication, and support tasks for Youthworks College students and faculty.

Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for responding to incoming calls, processing, and preparing of incoming and outgoing general correspondence, and facilitating general administrative tasks
  • Utilising the Office 365 suite of applications and other approved software programs and databases – create, edit, format, review, upkeep, and maintain documents, presentations, and projects as tasked
  • Data gathering and entering including creation of, implementation and upkeep of spreadsheets, database applications and online forms
  • Organising College events
  • Follow up outstanding student and customer invoices
  • Assist in maintaining Youthworks College social media accounts
  • Interact with students in a friendly and courteous manner and communicate accurate and consistent information

The successful candidate will have

  • Administration experience and/or qualifications
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with well-developed written and verbal communication skills with a focus on providing strong customer service
  • Excellent organisational skills with logical systems thinking and a focused approach to tasks with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and to be flexible to reflect changes in priority
  • An ability to work to set deadlines
  • Strong work ethos, that is flexible, collaborative, proactive and innovative
  • An ability to work with a wide range of employees to achieve effective outcomes
  • Personal Christian faith and willingness to work within an Anglican organisation

What we would really like you to have

  • Experience working for an educational or church organisation
  • Eye for aesthetics and basic design skills
