Anglicare are tendering to do this through a major initiative in the provision of social and affordable housing which is an innovative approach to the way NSW government are wanting to deliver social and affordable housing. If Anglicare is successful in its tendering this would see us providing access to homes to those who need them most and to be able to support the tailored needs of those clients and the communities we are passionate to see created.

We are seeking expressions of interest from qualified and experienced Christian professionals who will work closely with the COO – Community to develop a clear strategic direction to support Anglicare’s mission by leading the operations, performance and development of this Housing Division.

The opportunity involves a major, long term contract working with government to provide social and affordable housing.

To successfully grow this housing division, you are going to need to build a highly capable, competent and committed workforce to ensure the long-term success of this program. As well as ensuring the long term financial sustainability of the service.

You will have strong understanding of the community housing industry, changing markets, environments and clients’ needs, as well as extensive experience in the community/not for profit space.

As the General Manager, you will bring inspirational leadership and a strong Christian faith that will engage with Anglicare’s mission and values.
