Recently the AFES has engaged in the Student Engagement Innovation Project to contribute to AFES’ Vision and Mission through enhancing our digital presence and reach. We recognise that our greatest digital opportunity is to create more doorways into groups where people can meet Jesus and grow in spiritual maturity.

Are you passionate about engaging students with Jesus? As the Media and Marketing Content Specialist, you will create and edit digital content, and collaborate with AFES specialist teams to design and execute social media campaigns to extend the reach of AFES and enable work on campus to flourish.

About you

  • Personally committed to Christ, servant-hearted and passionate about the ministry of AFES.
  • Creative and innovative mindset, with the ability to generate original and engaging content ideas.
  • Ideally, a bachelor's degree in media, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in media management, digital marketing, or a similar role.
  • Knowledge and interest in the not-for-profit sector and the student engagement field.
  • Proficient in using content management systems, social media tools, and analytics tools.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor the content to different audiences and platforms.
  • Excellent in managing tasks, setting priorities and meeting deadlines

Working behind the scenes of the campus ministry in the AFES National Office is an opportunity to serve the staff and students and enable campus ministry to flourish. There is the potential for this role to be fully remote.
