Church Planters, Rectors & Assistant Ministers

Anglican Diocese of Tasmania
Location: Various, TAS
Date advertised: 11th September 2024
Job Type: Full time
Closing Date: 11th October 2024

Great things are happening in the Diocese of Tasmania. God is at work refreshing his church and bringing new growth. Over the last 8 years we have created 7 new full-time ministry positions in rural parishes, seen the tide turn in weekly attendance, and the development of a strong united team of ministry leaders.

We have well established plans for growing our work through church planting in Hobart and Launceston. We are committed to the support, training and development of ministers. Parish transformation is expected and supported.

We have been working on our local leadership pipeline, but just now continue to need some outside help. Would you consider coming to join us in this vital gospel work?

We are looking for Church Planters to lead plants in Hobart, Brighton and Launceston.

With BCA, we are looking for a new rector for King Island and the West Coast – both remote places but ever so rewarding for the right leader. We are also looking for Rectors for the Midlands (rural centre), Wellspring and Taroona (in Hobart), and soon for Burnie (on the north-west coast). We also have some assistant minister and Children’s and Families Ministry positions available.

Please prayerfully consider if God might be calling you to join us.

See here for more information.

For those in Sydney, Bishop Richard Condie will be in Newtown on Monday 23 September, and would be keen to talk with you about possibilities. Please contact us at bishop@anglicantas.org.au to book at time.

Please be aware that this job ad was placed and authorised only for the sydneyanglicans.net website.
