SGCS is based across two campuses in the St George region of Sydney. Our size (dual stream from K-6 and triple stream from 7-12) positions us well to know each student and enables the provision of a breadth of subject choices and co-curricular activities.
We require all staff members to meet the school’s requirements of being committed, evangelical Christians who regularly attend a church and are in full agreement with the attached SGCS Statement of Faith.
Currently we are seeking a qualified teacher with NESA approval for a Maternity Leave role commencing Term 1 2024 (23 January 2024) until the end of Term 2 2024 (28 June 2024).
This role involves a specific teaching responsibility for one class with instruction across the range of KLA’s. Involvement in the total school program, together with other duties and responsibilities appropriate for a Year 3 - 5 Teacher working in a K-12 Christian school will be expected. The successful applicant will be joining a collaborative team who are productive, caring, creative and highly regarded. This teacher will report to the Head of Junior School.
Salary and conditions are consistent with the NSW Christian Schools Teaching Staff Multi - Enterprise Agreement 2021.
