The School is based across two campuses in the St George region of Sydney. Our size (dual stream from K-6 and triple stream from 7-12) positions us well to know each student and enables the provision of a breadth of subject choices and co-curricular activities. We currently have a vacancy for the above position.
Staff members must meet the general school requirements of being a committed Christian who are in full agreement with the School’s Confession of Faith.
Teachers will have recognised teaching qualifications and appropriate experience to teach classes from Year 3-6. The ability to provide specialist skills in some particular area of the curriculum or co-curriculum could be an advantage.
The role involves a specific teaching responsibility for one class with instruction across the range of KLA’s. Involvement in the total school program together with other duties and responsibilities appropriate for a Year 3 - 6 Teacher working in a K-12 Christian school will be expected. The successful applicant will be joining a team of productive, caring, creative and highly regarded staff.
Salary and conditions are consistent with the NSW Christian Schools General Staff Multi Enterprise Agreement 2021.
In accordance with Child Protection legislation anyone seeking child-related employment are required to complete a Working with Children (WWC) Check clearance prior to employment.
The appointment to this position will take effect from Term 1, 2022.
