As a church we seek to Glorify God together, making disciples of all nations in the rapidly growing Northwest Region of Sydney. We currently teach SRE in 8 schools, with potential for expansion. Teaching SRE has been a key component of our ministry to reach generations of children to share Jesus’ love.
Position Summary
We are seeking to employ a part time (3 days per week) SRE Coordinator to oversee and support the delivery of Special Religious Education across Quakers Hill. This role ensures that SRE teachers are well-equipped, compliant, and cared for, while maintaining strong relationships with schools and church leadership. The coordinator plays a vital part in ensuring that SRE classes are delivered effectively and in accordance with Diocesan and Department of Education guidelines.
Skills, Qualifications, and Requirements
- Safe Ministry Training (current).
- Working With Children Check (NSW) – verified and current.
- Completion of (or willingness to complete) all SRE Accreditation Modules.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Confidence in teaching children and communicating biblical truths clearly.

- A mature and growing Christian faith.
- A heart for children’s ministry and local schools.
- Reliable, proactive, and pastoral in approach.
- Team-oriented with a servant-hearted attitude.
