All Saints Albion Park is a growing Anglican church in the Wollongong region. Our region is developing quickly, bringing with it a season of new gospel opportunities. Main Responsibilities
We are currently looking for a male assistant minister to join our ministry team to help us fulfil our vision with the following key responsibilities:
- Leading our mission and membership processes.
- Providing pastoral oversight of our evening congregation and young adult community.
- Training our members to passionately share the gospel.
- Support the ministry team in other ways as required including preaching, scripture teaching and strategic leadership
Main Requirements
The right candidate will be:
- A committed Christian of impeccable character and reputation.
- An excellent communicator and preacher with reformed evangelical convictions.
- Missional – personally committed to sharing the gospel with others.
- Activator – able to get things up and running – a self-starter.
- Empathetic – Have a keen understanding of the needs of young adults, and the ability to pastor accordingly.
- Determined and diligent – Able to manage and complete tasks with exceptional commitment to seeing things get done.
- Team focused – Willing to work within a small team and help out in other areas as needed in a growing and complex church.
- Trainer - Able to influentially recruit leaders and train others.
- Adaptable – able to embrace change and pivot in a dynamic church environment.
- Have relevant theological qualifications and experience.
Position start date is February 2024 but negotiable for the right candidate.
