  • Human Resources and People: Manage staff recruitment, contracts, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Risk and Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and Diocesan guidelines.
  • Property Management: With contractors and partners, support the maintenance and development of church and residential properties.
  • Parish Technology: With contractors, support the maintenance of effective IT systems and support staff in their use.
  • Church Events and Communications: Support organizing church events, communications, and social media activity.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, administration, or management (desirable).
  • At least 5 years of experience in operations, administration, or related leadership roles.

  • Experience in managing budgets, teams, and projects.
  • Competence in managing church-related technologies including MailChimp, Elvanto, MS Office, Xero, payment and banking systems, and websites.
  • Alignment with the mission and values of St Mark’s Anglican Church.
