Men and women are invited to apply for the position of Youth Outreach Worker with the Parish of Midlands.

Are you passionate about seeking to share the hope you have in Christ to a new generation in central Tasmania? The Midlands Parish has seen that so often this generation is very short on hope and they would love to see the love of Christ break through. To that end this new role has been created to try and meet some of these needs in this strategic location in Tasmania.

This new role is full-time and would suit someone who loves to connect with disadvantaged young people and has experience establishing youth program(s) to meet their needs. Appointments will be subject to the applicant fulfilling the Safe Church Communities requirements of the Diocese of Tasmania, including having a Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Card.

The Diocese of Tasmania is a ChildSafe organisation.

For more information please see the Position Description.

Applications, initial expression of interest or inquiries should be directed by email to office@midlandsanglican.org.au or to contact the Rector directly Revd. Ian Oates 0437 244 689. Applications close 28 February.

For general inquiries regarding position in the Diocese please contact Ellie Firth, Assistant Registrar (personnel@anglicantas.org.au).
