St Paul’s is a church that has always had a big vision for the Lord Jesus. Over the years, we have engaged in innovative missional initiatives, sending out local and overseas missionaries and most recently, giving generously to establish a 450-seat auditorium as a base to reach even more people.
The church is built on faithful Bible teaching and has thriving children and youth ministries. The suburb of Carlingford is about to be connected by light rail to the Parramatta, which has given rise to substantial residential development. We have seen almost 1,000 first-time visitors in 2022 alone, and the people of St Paul’s have a tangible desire to reach more.
We are seeking a Mission Pastor to join our team and spearhead our efforts to reach the lost. This will be supplemented with some level of congregational oversight (for example, at North Rocks), or support for another area in our church life. Preaching is an important part of the role. The staff seeks to work in a healthy team portfolio environment.
Suitable candidates will be of suitable Christian character and have a passion for being outward looking, reaching the lost, training and sending suitable people into ministry, working in a team, and teaching God’s Word. St Paul’s is a large church with reformed and evangelical convictions.
This position is full time and offered with remuneration and benefits as articulated in the Sydney Anglican Diocese Remuneration Guidelines.
