Women and Children’s Worker

Read Women and Children’s Worker
St Barnabas Anglican Church Roseville East
Location: Roseville East
Date advertised: 9th March 2018
Job Type: Part time
Closing Date: 9 April 2018

Our Church

We are a church of 130 adults across 4 congregations, including an international congregation to reach the diverse area of Roseville and Castle Cove.  The church is going through exciting changes for 2018, with a church plant merging in and new opportunities to grow.

We want to see lives transformed by Jesus Christ as people hear the gospel and joyfully submit  to him as Lord and Saviour.

We already have some great ministries being driven by a team of committed Christians.  We’re hoping that the women’s and children’s worker will come alongside the people already serving and help us take things to the next level.

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic women's and children's worker to join the team.  The focus of the role is to grow the women and children within church and to create opportunities to connect with families around us.

There is flexibility but it’s envisaged that the role would be approximately 3 days a week.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

  • training and discipling women
  • co-ordinating Kids’ Church
  • co-ordinating SRE at the local public school
  • creating outreach opportunities through children’s ministry

The Candidate

We are looking for someone who is passionate for Christ and seeing women and children grow in following Jesus.  The potential candidate should be able to teach, to lead others and to relate with people of different ages.  Specific experience in women’s ministry or children’s ministry is helpful but not essential.

If you are interested or have any questions, please contact Rev. Alby Lam on 0423 195 814 or alby.lam@graceanglican.org.au.

Applications close on 9 April 2018.
