Christ Church St Ives is seeking a skilled and creative Communications Coordinator. The role is part-time for up to 15 hours per week, and for a fixed term of up to 12 months (ending no later than 30 April 2024). 

Christ Church St Ives is a large suburban Anglican Church that exists to build whole-hearted disciples of Jesus who will transform the world with his gospel. Our staff team collaborate in accordance with a purpose driven model as we seek to serve our members who attend both in person and online. 

As a large, multi-generational church community, high quality digital and print communications are a key part of furthering Christ Church’s vision and mission. 

The Communications Coordinator will be responsible for implementing communications campaigns across the church through the production of consistent, high quality content. 

Position Requirements 

Evident commitment to Jesus and his gospel, with active involvement in a local congregation.

A keen eye for high-quality, simple and clean visual communications and design.

Passion for content creation including strong skills or experience in at least three of the following:

  • Graphic design
  • Video production
  • Copywriting and editing
  • Web design

Proficient computer use with current skills in or ability to learn:

  • Squarespace, Mailchimp, Adobe CC Suite, Elvanto, Slack, Google Suite

Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines, exercising flexibility and attention to detail.

Joy in doing ‘humble tasks’ well, for the glory of Christ and in service of his people.
