We are looking for an Academic Dean to join the Mary Andrews College team. Our team is passionate about seeing women from every generation be equipped to serve Jesus, especially in the space of discipleship, pastoral care and mental health.
The role of the Academic Dean of Students is integral to MAC, and will provide expertise in course structure, content, and will be a key liaison with lecturers and students. The role is also responsible for managing MAC’s compliance with the Australian College of Theology (ACT) of which MAC is an affiliated college.
The role includes:
- Managing MAC’s compliance with its obligations as an affiliate college of the ACT;
- Dissemination of ACT information, policies, and requirements to college faculty;
- Monitor curriculum and oversee quality issues pertaining to teaching and learning.
The role also includes a teaching load of a maximum of 1 unit (subject) per semester at undergraduate (certificate or diploma) or postgraduate level (graduate certificate). Theological training and teaching experience in one major research field (such as theology, biblical studies, pastoral care, or church history) is essential.
This position is presently 0.4 FTE.
