Join Our Team – Preparatory School Chaplain
Are you passionate about shaping young lives through Christian education and ministry? The Scots College is seeking a dedicated and inspiring individual to teach Christian Studies and lead various ministry initiatives within our Preparatory School.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Christian Studies and oversee the development of its teaching programs.
- Lead and preach at Chapel services and special assemblies.
- Facilitate Bible study groups, Cru groups, and other student ministry programs.
- Foster and support college-wide ministries, engaging staff, Old Boys, and parents.
- Strengthen connections with the Presbyterian Church, its mission, and associated programs.
Who You Are:
- Hold qualifications in Education and/or Theological/Biblical Studies with NESA registration.
- Have experience in Christian ministry, preferably with children aged 3-12 years.
- Collaborate effectively within Christian Studies and Chaplaincy teams.
- Integrate Christian values into your teaching and student engagement.
- Recognise and celebrate the uniqueness of each individual in our community.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional and personal development.
- Uphold integrity, curiosity, and a passion for learning.
- Possess (or be eligible for) a valid Working With Children Check.
