ANZAC Service of Remembrance at St Andrew’s Cathedral on Sunday 24 April

An Anzac Service of Remembrance will be held this Sunday, 24th April at St Andrew’s Anglican Cathedral, George Street, Sydney at 10.30am.

Everyone is welcome to attend this service to join with the Cathedral community in remembering those who have served in the armed forces and those who continue to do so. The Service will be celebrating the 90th Anniversary of the landing at Gallipoli and the 60th Anniversary of peace in World War Two.

All returned and present serving members of our armed forces are welcome to attend, with family and friends.

Her Excellency Professor Marie Bashir. Governor of NSW will be present at the service and the Prime Minister will be represented by Hon Malcolm Turnbull. Air Vice-Marshall John Monoghan will be represent Air Marshall Huston.

The Army Band will provide the music and Mr Donald Stowe OAM, NSW State President of the RSL will lay a wreath.
The Dean, Phillip Jensen will be the preacher at the service.
