I've been brainstorming ideas for new welcome packs at Church by the Bridge (it's been a while since we've had them). The benefit of welcome packs is providing information that newcomers can take home to continue to understand what your church is about, and how they can get involved. The challenge is keeping them flexible enough to cater for information (staff, ministries, dates, etc) that frequently change. It's also important to see welcome packs as part of a broader weloming strategy, supported by resources on your church's website.
