Evangelistic film nights are delivering a steady influx of inquirers to Christian workers focussing on Sydney's entertainment industry.

ENTER, a Bible ministry aimed at entertainers and headed by Charlie Brammall, is using a series of film analysis nights as a first point of contact for professionals in the entertainment industry.

The "Trof-fest' nights centre on a panel discussion of prominent films by actors, directors, critiques and other entertainment workers.

The discussion is followed by a short talk that targets what God has to say about the topics a film may uncover.

Charlie Brammall says the evening of film analysis is proving to be a popular way for entertainment workers to explore Christianity.

"ENTER's last Trof-Fest was an overwhelming success, especially in terms of
the calibre of our panel, and the discussion that followed the first half of Michael Moore's "Bowling for Columbine". Many people commented afterwards "This is so good, how can we get more people here!"

After the discussion Mr. Brammall spoke on "Perfect Love Casts Out Fear" from 1 John, encouraging the audience to see how Jesus' death dealt with anxiety over this life and the life to come.

The next Trof-fest is set for November 15 and will feature panel members David Field (actor), Megan Spencer (Triple J, The Movie Show), Emma de Vries (Puppeteer, ABC and Channel 7) reviewing Michel Gondry's "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind".
