Name: Sue Jaggar

Location: Taboro, Tanzania (but most likely returning to a different African nation)

Years: 6

Next tour: Sue is currently discussing and negotiating options for her next tour. In Sue's second term she has been teaching at Tabora Anglican Training College, teaching Doctrine to the Evangelists-in-training, and teacher training for the evangelist courses as well as a four week course for Sunday School teachers. It is most likely that she will be doing similar work in Africa, but outside Tanzania.

Snapshot:
"In Australia we take for granted our schooling, training, access to Christian books and good teaching. In Tanzania these are regarded as precious gifts from God. Mama Daima Kasiva is a grandmother, she walks several kilometres to come to seminars, and worked hard to raise money to come to our course. She voluntarily teaches Sunday School with a smile on her face that shows the joy in her heart, and each week 200 children learn more about our great God through her dedication."

How have you seen God working in 2006: "I have seen God working through the faithfulness and perseverance of the average Tanzanians though that do not have much. One young man I know cycles 45km so that he can lead a church in a village."

Pray for this year: Pray for wisdom as Sue negotiates the location of her next tour. Pray too for Mary, the Tanzanian woman who will be taking over from Sue at Tabora. Pray that the leadership will continue to support her work.
