The season here in the snowfields of NSW is well and drawing to a close.
As I write this we are heading into a "wrap-up' meeting for the season and I am sitting under the setting sun, looking up to the nearly snow-free mountains. The warm weather has melted away any snow that fell this way in the crazy weather of the weekend just gone.
On the Jindabyne front, things are very quite with most of the seasonal workers having headed home, or overseas for the Australian summer. At this point I think it is important to thank the good Lord for his blessing and protection over the winter. Whilst there were a few unsavoury instances throughout the winter, God has been present in the town and your prayers have been truly appreciated.
This weekend will be the last of the Winter Chapel sessions for the year, but we will be back in force next June ready for the bumper season that didn't quite happen this year. Earlier this week I someone asked, "Which one of you [Chaplains] was responsible for the blessing of the snow" cause it didn't seem to work?!?" I could only reply that we had tried but what more could we do. At least people are seeing God somewhere in this, and asking about Him.
Please continue to pray for the future of the ministry and those involved. We really need and value all your support and prayers. Thanks again for reading.
Blessings
LJ
