The last two weeks have been a mixture of good and bad weather, but good times all round.
Last week we had rain on Thursday, but that soon turned to snow which dumped down on Wednesday. The snow was so low that the sleepy town of Jindabyne turned into a true Winter Wonderland, as all around the hillsides were covered in that lovely powder from heaven. The snow didn't last long, but it did toop up those runs, so make sure you get down here while the snow is still here.
Last week at the Dragon's Lair, over Thredbo way, we were blessed with a visit from some lovely girls from Sydney who came and encouraged us heaps.
We have also had visits at all the midweek gathering. The Ladies Study (being held at a lodge in Smiggins) has really been meeting the need of several of the managers working here for the season who are often isolated in their lodge. Please pray for those who are working and living on the mountain as they have been away from family, friends and the normalities of live for a quarter of the year. Pray that they are sustained in the last month of the season.
Last Sunday at chapel we were blessed with a visit from the crew at Unity College, Camberra. We heard from a young girl out studying here all the way from Nigeria. It is amazing how God brings His people together.
Please continue to pray for us, and remember to pop in for a visit if you are down this way. We love hearing from you!
