Next tour: Although they have been living at Musoma, Jono has spent the past 2 years been involved in ministry training in the Kowak and Oliyo regions. Snapshot: "Have you ever tried to teach 90 children aged 2-12 under a tree for 3 hours on your own without any resources in a foreign language? This is pretty typical of Sunday school at our local church. It really can be chaos; we sometimes laugh, sometimes cry, but at the same time we remember it is such a privilege to be able to share more about Jesus in a way that relates to the children's lives."
How they saw God working in 2006: Mainly through people taking on Two Ways to Live and using it in their teaching. "It was great to see people understanding the basics of the Bible and getting excited about the gospel," says Jono.
Answers to prayer in 2006: Jono says answers to prayer include their language skills getting better and that the drought that has gripped the region has broken. However the stand out event was that their youngest daughter survived a mystery illness that almost killed her.
