Maitland Evangelical Church (MEC) is seeking a senior and experienced pastor to lead its mission to know Christ and make him known by proclaiming the gospel in one of the fastest growing regions in Australia.
The successful candidate will:
- demonstrate a life of discipleship in following Jesus
- be humble, honest, faithful, approachable
- show a love for the lost and passion to introduce them to Jesus
- be an engaging and faithful preacher of God’s word
- have experience leading in a medium to large, or rapidly growing church
- be capable of leading and pastorally caring for staff and volunteer teams
- have a strong focus on mission and church planting
