The Manager, Greenfields position sits within Sydney Anglican Property (SAP), which was formed on 1 January 2024 to provide a unified and coordinated approach to all diocesan property matters. This includes day-to-day parish building and property issues, strategic planning and strategy, construction of new church developments, urban renewal redevelopment, the management of heritage items and more. SAP brings together the staff and functions previously spread across the Anglican Church Growth Corporation, the Anglican Church Property Trust, New Churches for New Communities and St Andrew's House Corporation.
As a result, SAP is now a one-stop shop for property-related matters across the whole Diocese, ensuring parishes are provided with better, more coordinated services, while retaining an emphasis on innovative projects that support the work of the gospel in Greater Sydney.
About the role
The Strategy and Development Team within Sydney Anglican Property (SAP) is seeking a driven and experienced Manager to lead our Greenfields initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the acquisition, activation, and development of new sites for future ministry
- supporting the ongoing development and implementation of SAP’s strategic business plan.

If you're a strategic thinker with great people and project skills who loves the local church and wants to support effective ministry and evangelism, we invite you to apply. In this role, you will use your professional skills to ensure there are strategically located properties, with ministry-enabling buildings ready to serve the growing population in Greater Sydney's newest areas.
The ideal candidate for the role has 5+ years of experience in a built environment profession with multidisciplined experience in areas such as Urban Planning, Architecture, Project Management, Engineering, Property Development, Land Economics or similar and has a proven track record in delivering strategic initiatives and leading people.
