A charity focussed on giving back sight to the prematurely blind has been stunned by the generosity of Sydney Anglicans.

Padstow Anglican is celebrating 75 years of service in south-west Sydney with plans to revolutionise members ministry to the suburb.

It was raining in the Philippines capital Manila as the plane took off with Christians in the Media's Dominic and Catherine Steele on board.
