Recently AFES has undertaken a Student Engagement Innovation Project to contribute to AFES’ Vision and Mission through enhancing our digital presence and reach. We recognise that our greatest digital opportunity is to create more doorways into groups where people can meet Jesus and grow in spiritual maturity.
The Media and Marketing Team will drive this significant change, including the building of integrated turnkey websites to lift the digital visibility of campus groups across the Fellowship. This team may expand in the future and will certainly have a real impact on engaging students with the gospel.
As the Media and Marketing Team Leader, you will establish this exciting new area in the AFES National Office, building AFES’s digital assets, and designing and executing social media campaigns, to extend the reach of AFES and enable work on campus to flourish.
About you
- Personally committed to Christ, servant-hearted and passionate about the ministry of AFES.
- Creative and strategic thinker, and able to adapt and innovate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- A bachelor's degree in media, communications, marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years experience in media management, digital marketing, or a similar role.
- Proven track record of designing and executing successful media campaigns for a not for profit or a social cause.
- Excellent skills in media production and distribution, including graphic design, video editing, podcasting, social media management and web design.
- Strong skills in data analysis and reporting, and proficiency in using various tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Facebook Insights, Mailchimp and WordPress.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
