The Ten Commandments

In 2003, Judge Roy S. Moore, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Alabama lost office as a result of legal action. His offence was the insertion of a granite block weighing more than two tons in the rotunda of the judicial building: on the block was inscribed, among other things, parts of the ten commandments. He campaigned for office in 2000 with the slogan, 'the ten commandments judge.

The Faith Once For All Delivered - The Australian Church Record

It is the responsibility of all Christian people to cling to the apostolic word, 'once for all delivered to the saints (Jude 3). The apostolic word is the word of God. To depart from this word is to depart from Gods form of faith and Gods way of life. The Faith Once for All Delivered is a collection of essays which responds to The Windsor Report from several directions: legal, rhetorical, and theological. They are written by Australian evangelicals, who share a common belief that the future of Anglicanism ought to be shaped more and more by 'the faith once for all delivered to the saints.

This sprawling website of a book is perhaps a little less fun to read than it ought to be and could be half as long. It swings between groovy journalist chat and would-be academic prose. However, it contains a real and profound challenge to the way we live life in the west.
