CMS Australia is currently seeking a sub-editor to start work immediately for a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will work as part of the Communications Team producing print and digital publications that engage members and supporters of CMS. The position is flexible, with work location to be shared between the Sydney CBD office, and home.
CMS (the Church Missionary Society of Australia) is a fellowship of Christian people committed to cross-cultural mission. CMS works in partnership with local churches to set apart long-term workers who cross cultures to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Skills & attributes:
- Commitment to the vision and values of CMS
- A sharp eye for detail with demonstrated experience in editing and proofreading
- A demonstrated ability to write and relate to diverse audiences
- Organised, with ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure
- Helpful, friendly and willingness to be flexible
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment and independently, with minimal supervision.
