Sydney Anglican Synod commences on Monday 13 October

10 October, 2003

The Synod of the Diocese of Sydney will commence its 2003 meeting next Monday 13th October.

The Synod will assemble at 2.30pm in the Wesley Theatre, 220 Pitt Street Sydney.

Archbishop Peter Jensen will deliver his Presidential Address from 3.15pm. The Archbishop’s address will be posted on the Anglican Media Sydney website from 3.00pm at www.anglicanmedia.com.au

Embargoed copies of the Presidential Address are available for media before that time from the Anglican Media office or at the Synod.

A special Mission presentation will be the main focus of the Monday evening session of Synod.

There will be specially reserved media seating.

Media are permitted to film, photograph and record the Synod after contact with the Synod media officer, Margaret Rodgers or Anglican Media Sydney staff.
