Sydney Anglican Synod Commences today
The Synod of the Anglican Synod will hold its first day of meeting today in the Sydney Town Hall.
The Synod commences at 4.30pm after the Synod Service, held at 3.00pm in St Andrew's Cathedral, concludes.
At 7.00pm this evening the Archbishop of Sydney, Dr Peter Jensen will deliver his Presidential Address to the Synod.
His audience will include parish clergy, elected lay synod representatives and other members of parishes who have obtained tickets for this first Synod evening.
During the course of the Address there will be interviews and video clips
The focus of the Presidential Address will be reporting to Synod on the progress of the Diocesan 10 year Mission that was endorsed overwhelmingly by Synod three years ago.
