With the Federal election grinding on and Southern Cross deadline this week, I was needing some light relief.

And photographer-at-large Ramon Williams has delivered.

Given the colourful history of the St Barnabas’, Broadway signboard its great to see the tradition of community dialogue lives on.

You may remember the 1980s when former rector Rob Forsyth and the publican across the road used to battle out with sign and counter-sign.

Part of the joke here is that the rebuilding of St Barnabas’ since it was gutted by fire has been a long time coming.
