Cyclists from St Luke's Miranda have helped each other over hill, over dale in their drive to raise money for the Bible Society.
A total of 60 riders including 28 from St Luke's have covered 1034 kilometres from Blackheath to Cowra and back again.
The annual "Bikes for Bibles' ride is funding Bible Society projects in Indonesia that teach children to read and write using the Scriptures.
Scripture portions are also made available to adults keen to attend the classes.
Jim Blaxland, a 61-year-old veteran of 18 "Bikes for Bibles' ride says this year's event was a veritable tour of the state's central west.
"We went from Blackheath to Blayney then Grenfall, West Wyalong, Lake Cargelligo, Condobolan, Parkes, Cowra, Bathurst, and back to Blackheath," he says.
The journey was cross-denominational as well as cross-country with riders including representatives from Anglican, Salvation Army, Baptist and Presbyterian churches.
